HERO-1 Robot

In 1983, I was inspired to build this HERO-1 robot kit after seeing R2-D2 forced to serve drinks in the second Star Wars movie! This was one of the first home robots. HERO could see with ultrasonic ranging eyes, detect motion, speak, understand voice commands, and navigate a room. The video was shot in 1984. I created the music soundtrack in 2006. FYI, I no longer drink. It was always about this cool robot, not the bar.
